Love4BBH Community Rally a Success!
Love4BBH Community Rally

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools hosted a Love4BBH Community Rally at the High School on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.  The event provided an unprecedented opportunity for the entire community to unite and proclaim that every child matters and is loved. A ‘human tunnel’ composed of teachers, fellow peers, parents and community members greeted participating students as they entered the High School, showering them with cheers, applause and most of all, love.  The High School gymnasium was packed for the rally which started off with energy and excitement thanks to an impressive performance by members of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Scream Team.

The Love4BBH Community Rally featured a wide array of guest speakers, including Mayors from both communities, local faith community leaders, Joe Cronauer from WKYC-Channel 3 News and 95.5 The Fish, as well as Christopher Milo, an internationally renowned concert pianist, motivational speaker and entrepreneur.  District administrators, teachers and parents provided words of encouragement as well.  In their own unique way, each speaker communicated to the students in attendance that they are appreciated, loved, valued and supported by the entire BBHCSD community.  The celebration of unity and love was also expressed in song, as female members of the BBHHS choir delivered a powerful rendition of I Am Beautiful by Christian Aguilera.  The BBHCSD will seek to carry the momentum of positivity and compassion from the Love4BBH Community Rally with a different daily challenge over the next seventeen days to promote acts of kindness.  Thank-you to everyone for helping to make the Love4BBH Community Rally a success!
