Brecksville-Broadview Heights Robotics Teams Demonstrate Class En Route to Victories
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Robotics Program sent seven teams this past week to the Mahoning Valley competition, two of which, Teams 2011C and 2011D, notched impressive victories.  Also earning a prestigious award was Team C, which was honored with the sportsmanship and skills award.  All our teams combined for a total of 36 victories in this throughout their various contests. In addition to formally winning competition awards, our very own Brecksville-Broadview Heights Robotics students demonstrated grace and poise in the spirit of friendly competition. In facing a new team to the competition whose own robot fell to its side approximately 30 seconds into the match, our BBHHS students used our team’s robots to pick up the fallen robot so it was able to finish.  That team’s coach and a parent who was impressed with our students’ maturity and compassion complimented our Robotics champions for winning with class. Congratulations to the BBHHS Robotics organization and their advisers who promote and display competitiveness and character in the way they conduct themselves.
