BBHHS Student Recognized at National Level for Artistic Achievements
Tiffany Wang

BBHHS Junior Tiffany Wang was recently named a NATIONAL Scholastics Art Gold Key and American Visions Medal Winner for her impressive efforts in designing a video game titled Spacebar.  The award-winning educational game is designed to help children learn basic keyboarding skills and was created over a period of several months using computer programming concepts.  Her work was initially recognized with a Regional Gold Key Award and then advanced to the national competition to be judged by a panel of creative-industry experts, where she received a Gold Medal and the American Visions Award (highest honor).  As a National Award Winner, Tiffany will join a select group of students from across the country to be recognized during the 2019 National Ceremony at the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York City!  The entire BBHCSD community had the opportunity to watch a video of Spacebar, as well as view other outstanding pieces of student artwork at the 4th Annual Art Fest at BBHHS on March 15th and 16th, 2019.  An exemplary student, Tiffany is actively involved in Science Olympiad, National Art Honor Society, and National Honor Society, and is currently leaning towards majoring in Computer Science.  The BBHCSD congratulates Tiffany Wang on her impressive artistic achievements!
