The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools would like to thank the members from the community who took the time to attend the District’s public showing of the documentary Angst earlier this week. Angst is a film dedicated to raising awareness about the issue of anxiety, and particularly how it affects students on a daily basis. Valuable interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents, and a very special interview with Michael Phelps were all included in this documentary. After the presentation, a panel discussion took place that gave parents and other participants the opportunity to ask questions about the documentary, anxiety and various coping mechanisms. The showing of the documentary Angst is the latest resource made available to the community on behalf of the District to address the continued presence of mental health, awareness and being proactive with our children in today’s society.
