As part of the District’s safety and security protocols, the BBHCSD will be conducting practice evacuation and reunification drills at each building over the next two weeks. This morning, the Middle School and Hilton Elementary School successfully began the scheduled round of drills. Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 25th, Chippewa and Highland Elementary Schools will conduct their respective practice evacuation procedures, while Central School will complete a separate drill on Thursday, September 27th. Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School has tentatively scheduled a practice evacuation drill for early next week.
The District is conducting the above drills with the assistance of local public safety forces. This important measure represents one of the many ways that the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools continually monitors and practices its various security and safety protocols.
