The elementary buildings throughout the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District have been busy this week with various holiday previews and performances. The practice performances of various elementary school holiday concerts generally took place before the rest of the student body at each respective school as a way to prepare for the evening performances for family and friends. The buildings performed various plays which involved third graders singing, dancing and acting. Chippewa Elementary School performed a preview for the school on Wednesday afternoon with the actual concert taking place that evening at the High School, as did Hilton Elementary School who performed their concert at the Middle School for family and friends. Highland Elementary School performed their preview on Thursday afternoon, which was followed by a High School evening performance as well. Students did an excellent job speaking memorized lines, role playing various characters and officially ushering in holiday cheer.
