BBHCSD Partners with CAPA to Adopt Updated 100% Tobacco Free Campus Policy
Students and staff with banner

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District in partnership with the Community Awareness and Prevention Association (CAPA), recently adopted an updated 100% Tobacco Free Campus Policy.  Based on guidelines established by the Ohio Department of Health Tobacco Use Prevention and Cessation Program, the updated district-wide policy prohibits all forms and use of tobacco by students, staff and visitors at all times in school facilities, on school and athletic grounds, parking lots, as well as school-sponsored events hosted off-campus.  By adopting the revised 100% Tobacco Free Campus guidelines, the BBHCSD seeks to continue to protect the health of the district’s students and prevent tobacco use.  To help raise awareness about the district-wide initiative, announcement banners will be placed outside all school buildings and other school and athletic grounds.  The BBHCSD would like to thank CAPA for its support and partnership in promoting the health and safety of our students.
