Brecksville Broadview Heights City School District Wins Barney Dunnan Award
Superintendent Magyar with Barney Dunnan Award

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools was recently awarded the Barney Dunnan Award and was honored for this achievement at the annual Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA) Annual Fall Conference and Luncheon earlier this month. The Barney Dunnan Award is a special honor that recognizes the superintendent and the school district that has the highest overall Value Added Gain Index on the 2017 report card for the state of Ohio. This distinction comes in addition to the recent news that the BBHCSD elevated to #11 in the statewide rankings from #35 a year ago, the National Merit Scholars’ continued accomplishments and the improved ACT scores. Congratulations to all the students and staff on these notable academic achievements for the BBHCSD.
