Superintendent Delivers State of the Schools Presentation

Superintendent speaking at State of the Schools presentation

Superintendent Joelle Magyar delivered a State of the Schools presentation during the afternoon on Monday, August 21st at St. Michael’s Woodside Event Center.  The event was attended by former district teachers and administrators, and provided a great opportunity to reconnect with former colleagues and learn more about the latest successes and initiatives of the BBHCSD.  To begin her remarks, Superintendent Magyar shared about the exciting and successful start to the 2017-18 school year, during which she visited each building throughout the district, and participated in the taping of a welcome-back video with each of the school principals.  The main part of the presentation centered around important topics including academic milestones, co-curricular and student achievements, buildings and facilities planning, and overall district culture and climate.  BBHCSD Treasurer and CFO Jeff Hall provided an overview of district finances and emphasized the district’s focus on remaining responsible and diligent with overall spending.  The program concluded with a brief Question and Answer session.  The district would like to thank everyone who attended the State of the Schools presentation for their continued support of the BBHCSD.
