BBHHS Staff Raises $2,500 for Families in Need
Just in time for the holiday season, the generous staff at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School has raised approximately $2,500 for families in need in our community. As part of its annual Holiday Giving Drive, School Guidance Counselor Jaci Owens helps take the lead on collecting money from staff members who are willing to donate, in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans between the time of the fundraising effort until holiday break. With the final tally of funds raised just completed, the District is pleased to report that approximately 75 high school staff members participated in the effort to donate 25 gift cards with a $100 value to families who are in need in our community. This is the third consecutive year for this particular High School staff effort. The generosity of the annual Holiday Giving Drive is just one special example of many that are taking place in the BBHCSD right now. Special thank you to Mrs. Owens for her leadership of this effort and to the kind staff members at the High School.
