Hilton Hosts Make Up Box Tops Basketball Game
Jack Knestrick with Principal Martin

For students at Hilton Elementary, collecting Box Tops for Education remains one of the most popular ways to support their school thanks to fun incentives provided by Principal David Martin.  Students who donate the most Box Tops are given the opportunity to play Principal Martin in a friendly basketball game or soccer match in the school gym.  To help ensure that every eligible student has the chance to participate, Hilton hosted a make up Box Tops Basketball game on Friday, May 11, 2018.  Third-grader Jack Knestrick, who was unable to attend the last Box Tops activity, joined fellow Hilton students in playing a fun game of basketball with Principal Martin.  Dan Schreiber, Wide Receiver coach for the Bees Varsity Football team served as the referee.  The students won the game by one point!  Most importantly, everyone involved had a great time.  The funds received from Box Tops for Education have helped to fund many important projects at Hilton Elementary, including the purchase of playground equipment and instructional materials.  Thank you to the students at Hilton Elementary for proudly supporting their school!
