The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District officially welcomed back teachers and staff at the 2018 Convocation on Thursday, August 16th, in the High School Auditorium. Excitement and anticipation for a new school year was evident, as teachers and staff enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect after the summer break. Superintendent Joelle Magyar opened the program with welcoming remarks and introduced City of Brecksville Mayor Jerry Hruby and City of Broadview Heights Mayor Samuel J. Alai, who praised the hard work and dedication of the entire District on behalf of its students. New staff members, as well those celebrating milestone years of service were recognized during the program. In addition, teachers who successfully completed the Master Teacher program through the Ohio Department of Education were recognized for their noteworthy accomplishment. The BBHCSD wishes all District staff a successful 2018-19 school year!
