New students in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools will be officially welcomed to the District this week as the annual tradition of “New Bee” signs are placed in the yards of those individuals. This practice of placing signs is intended to demonstrate the love and value the District places on each and every individual, particularly those who are new and who will be faced with a new setting, new buildings and making new acquaintances in the District. You have a friend in the BBHCSD! In addition, upon seeing the New Bee signs and the impact they have, one senior citizen made a homemade sign last year which prompted the BBHCSD to include the members from our Greatest Generation in welcoming families with excitement, pride and support of our District. Special thanks goes out to the PSO, who purchased the signs for our New Bees. If you, or anyone you know, needs a New Bee sign who inadvertently does not receive one, please contact the Board Office at 440-740-4000 and make that request. Keep in mind that the first day of school is Monday, August 20, 2018!
