BBHMS Student’s Birthday Raises $3,000 for Kick-It

One very special 8th grade student at Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle Schools has generously used her birthday as an occasion to not only celebrate being one year older, but also to help to raise money for a special cause. For the third consecutive year, when Maria Boulas has a birthday party for her friends to attend, she makes a special request that rather than presents, participants make a donation to Kick-It, an organization which is dedicated to using the passion of soccer to inspire and empower children and their families affected by cancer. This year alone, Maria’s birthday party raised approximately $3,000 for Kick-It, based on the generous donations from Maria and her dedicated friends. In the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools, “Our Community,” makes a difference in the lives of others in need, when supportive and charitable actions such as this take place. Thank you to everyone who was involved in raising this money for the Kick-It organization.
