Staff of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools officially kicked off the 2019-2020 school year with the annual convocation and welcome back gathering at the High School earlier this week. Led by Superintendent Joelle Magyar and supplemented with remarks from other administrators and teachers in the District, staff members were greeted and light refreshments at the outset and then treated to a luncheon courtesy of the PSO organization at the conclusion of the time together. The special feature of the morning, however, was a highly inspirational message delivered by renowned motivational speaker Tim Kight, who spoke about the Focus 3 aspect and the critical factors that help distinguish highly successful organizations and prompt them to be more effective in achieving their purpose. Mr. Kight used the District’s Culture Playbook to reinforce his powerful message about the mindset and skills at the core of individual and organizational performance. In all, this year’s Convocation ceremony was kicked off with high spirit, energy and excitement. Thank you for your continued support of the BBHCSD.
