BBHHS Graduates Class of 2019
2019 BBHHS Commencement
 
Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School hosted its 136th Annual Commencement Ceremony at the historic State Theater on Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland this past Saturday, May 25, 2019, before a capacity audience of family, friends and other members from the community.  Excitement, happiness and a profound sense of accomplishment filled the air as students completed the official requirements of their high school careers.  Superintendent Joelle Magyar delivered introductory remarks which encouraged the Class of 2019 to be heroes that make a positive difference in the lives of others and the world.  The Senior Choir followed with a powerful performance of the song “Live Out Loud” composed by BBHHS Seniors Delia Brennan and Stephen Pilat, both of whom will be attending Berklee College of Music in the fall.  BBHHS seniors Christy Pitzer, Alexander Benedict and Christine Rutkowski addressed their fellow graduates with words of encouragement and inspiration.  Superintendent Magyar, High School Principal Steve Ast, and Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. David Martin were joined onstage by members of the Board of Education to formally congratulate members of the Class of 2019 with their diplomas.  The Class of 2019 earned more than $15.5 million in total scholarships, awards and grants, in addition to a record breaking $115,000 in local scholarships awarded to 117 seniors.  The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools proudly congratulate the Class of 2019 and wish them continued success as they pursue their individual goals and dreams!
