The Brecksville Broadview Heights Board of Education thanks those civic and business leaders, parents and community members and staff members who attended focus groups on January 27 and 28 to discuss the qualifications required and expectations awaiting a new superintendent of the school district. The Board is working with Finding Leaders, an educational search firm, to assist with identifying qualified candidates.
The focus groups were the first step in this process. Interested candidates have submitted their applications and Finding Leaders is evaluating them based upon input from the focus groups and the Board of Education. The Board will review all applications prior to scheduling interviews with selected candidates. The Board expects to name a new superintendent this spring and that person will assume leadership of the district in August.
