Central School Rolls Out Bee Bucks Cart Award for Students Who Demonstrate Positive Behavior

Central School Teachers and students with Bee Buck Awards

On Friday, September 8, 2017, Central School officially “rolled out” its very own Bee Bucks Cart, filled with items for purchase by students with Bee Bucks accumulated for demonstrating positive behavior. In a collaborative effort between the building PSO and the building administration, the Bee Bucks cart features a variety of items for sale, including candy, school supplies, toys and will soon feature larger-ticket items, such as lunch with the principals. Students have the opportunity to purchase these items with Bee Bucks that are earned for showing positive behavior, completing tasks on-time, being respectful and other actions in which teachers identify them as ‘caught being good.’ Any student is eligible to earn Bee Bucks and to shop for items displayed in the cart on a weekly basis, or, students can choose to continue accumulating Bee Bucks for larger-dollar items. In all, the Bee Bucks cart is an incentive the building is using to promote positive behavior, character and respectfulness of others!
