The past weekend featured a special event at Chippewa Elementary School that combined safety lessons, wellness and little bit of fun: The annual Bike Rodeo. Open to all families at Chippewa and spearheaded by our dedicated PSO members along with a helpful sponsorship from Brecksville Bike, the Bike Rodeo featured brief tips on safety reminders and proper bike riding. Helmets were graciously donated by MetroHealth as well. We would also like to thank the Brecksville Fire Department for bringing a fire engine and Officer Mark, who was present with the D.A.R.E. Mobile. In all, a fun, interactive and meaningful experience was enjoyed by all those who participated in this year’s Chippewa Bike Rodeo.
