The district technology team met on March 30, 2010. At this meeting, the team discussed the status of current technology projects,  plans for summer 2010 technology classes for teachers, and upcoming technology projects.

Tech Team Minutes, February 2010

The district technology team met on February 23,2010. At this meeting, the team discussed the status of current technology projects, the 2010 Teacher Tech Grants, and plans for summer 2010 technology classes for teachers. The equipment standards for this year were also approved by the team.

Tech Team Minutes, January 2010

The district technology team met on January 26,2010. At this meeting, the team discussed the status of current network upgrade projects, and plans for the March 5 waiver day. A team is being formed to study the practicalities of issuing Google Apps for Education accounts to students. The team also discussed the 2010 teacher technology grants, procedures for the removal of student network accounts, and plans for future technology projects.

Tech Team Minutes, October 2009

The district technology team met on October 27, 2009. At this meeting, the team discussed Google Apps for Education, and how this free service could benefit our students and staff. Currently, all staff members have Google Apps accounts, and students in grades 4-12 may receive them in the future.

The team also continued discussion of plans for the March 5 waiver day, and welcomed new team members Caroline Loomer and Ann Marie Williams.

Tech Team Minutes, September 2009

The district technology team met on September 21, 2009. At this meeting, the team discussed summer upgrades and the status of eTech in light of statewide budget cuts. Updates were provided on current projects in server virtualization and storage area networking. Plans for a district-wide wireless network were also mentioned, and planning for such a network will take place this school year, with possible pilot projects beginning in the winter. Planning has also begun for the March 5 waiver day, which will include a technology-related professional development component. The team also discussed the survey results gathered from team members about the role and composition of the team, and several suggestions were made for improvement.

Technology Team Minutes 2008-2009

The district technology team is comprised of teachers, administrators, and computer lab managers representing all of the district\'s schools and various grade levels and subject areas. The team meets monthly during the school year and is responsible for technology planning and professional development. Team members are technology leaders in their buildings and departments.
