Dear Orchestra Booster Members:

Save the date and plan to eat Honey Hut ice cream on Thursday, Sept. 25! We are trying out a new fundraiser. Honey Hut agreed to donate a percentage of its sale proceeds from 5:00-7:30 PM that day to Orchestra Boosters. We selected this date and time slot since it is around the time of the BBHHS Homecoming Parade (and bonfire) scheduled for that evening, hoping to attract a large ice-cream eating crowd.

Special thanks to Judy Sabol for arranging the event and taking the lead on advertising! Note that Honey Hut graciously agreed to extend their usual 2 hr fundraising time slot by an extra 1/2 hour for our group.

Judy will help us with advertising the fundraiser in the upcoming weeks. She is still gathering details on the process (Honey Hut has some restrictions on advertising, requiring us to use flyers that they help put together, and we may not hand out flyers at their door). Hope to have details ironed out before the Sept. 9 Welcome Back Dinner - perhaps we can personally inform parents/students and hand out flyers at the dinner. More info will be available at our Sept. 15 Booster Meeting.
