Welcome to Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School

Mark RobinsonWelcome to Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School "on the Internet". Our goal is to define our educational program and related activities through this website. As with any endeavor, we will follow a continuous improvement pathway toward providing you with the most pertinent and updated information concerning our school. Our site is housed on a Dell server at BBHHS and administered by technology teacher, John Schinker. Mr. Schinker is working with several talented high school students and web site design and administration will be an enhancement to our curriculum. We look forward to the future and using this technology as one important method of communicating with our school community. As you view the web pages, please let us know how we can better serve your interests. What's great? What's missing? Just click on my photo to send an e-mail messages to the high school.

While "surfing" the web, I encourage you to take a moment to view a few of our staff members web pages. Mr. Mark Fields, English Teacher, Miss Peggy Flinn, English/German Teacher and Mr. Dathan Cole, Economics Teacher, have developed and implemented unique and helpful pages for their students and the community. You can link to their pages below:

We are proud of our heritage of fine education at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. This heritage is maintained through quality teamwork by students, staff, parents, and community members. We are truly an educational family with high expectations and a commitment to educational excellence. Student success, both personal and academic, is always our ultimate goal.

We are a school community of 1354 students, grades 9 through 12. Our state-of-the-art facility opened on August 27, 1997. We serve the young persons of the communties of Brecksville and Broadview Heights. We offer a comprehensive educational program that serves the needs and abilities of each individual student. Vocational education is provided through Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, which is located in Brecksville. Each year, approximately eighty-five percent of our graduates chose to attend a 4 or 2 year college to further their education. Fifteen percent elect to enter the work force or join the armed services.

I strongly encourage you to read the various pages of this website to gain a more in-depth knowledge of our overall program. We have included the full text of our "Options' booklet, which details course offerings and educational options, and our Student/Parent Handbook, which discusses school policies and procedures. You will also find the current month's Principal's Message from the PTSA newsletter, The Herald, along with many other pages of information from various departments and offices. Enjoy your "surfing" as you get to know us a little better. We appreciate your interest in our school community!

Yours in education,
Mark A. Robinson, Principal
