Attention All Alumni Baseball Players
Currently we have the names of over 450 alumni
dating back to 1943. We are trying to contact these alumni baseball
players for several reasons:
1. To make the alumni more familiar with the current
BBHHS baseball program.
2. To build tradition.
3. To collect stories and memories these ball players
have of their ball-playing days. These stories
need to be written down for
posterity sake.
4. To have our current players connect with the
players of the past.
5. To help our players feel part of a larger baseball
family.
6. To hold alumni events, for example, an alumni vs.
the high school team baseball game during the
summer or choose a varsity
game and invite our alumni back to watch the games and have a
cookout afterwards. We would
also like to promote an opportunity to watch a Lake County
Captains game, Indians game and
have the varsity team play at both stadiums. We also have the
opportunity to play Euclid at the
Lake County Captain's field following the April 15th Captain's
game. On May 5th, we are
playing in the CIC Hardball Classic at Jacob's Field against North
North Royalton. The baseball
program will be selling ticket packages to the Lake County
Captain's game, Lake County
Captain's High School game, Hardball Classic and the Indians
game for approximately $25.
