Middle School News
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School has instituted a Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports system (PBIS) as part of our Continuous Improvement Plan. The "Support" part of our program involves recognizing students who display positive character traits in one or more of our categories: Responsibility, Honesty, Gratitude, Service, Respect, Perseverance, Courage, Cooperation, and Pride. The students receive a certificate that can be redeemed for an ice cream treat, as well as recognition by placing their picture on the bulletin board at the entrance of the school. A postcard is sent home for parents to hear the great news! It is so wonderful to have students with such positive qualities!
The Board of Education approved the 2013-2014 school calendar at their December 17, 2012 meeting.
What an exciting week to remember for our 8th Graders! Here is a picture of our BBHMS 8th Graders at the House of Representatives while visiting Capitol Hill. They met with Representative David Joyce. BEE Pride at its Best!
