The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School has instituted a Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports system (PBIS) as part of our Continuous Improvement Plan. The "Support" part of our program involves recognizing students who display positive character traits in one or more of our categories: Responsibility, Honesty, Gratitude, Service, Respect, Perseverance, Courage, Cooperation, and Pride. The students receive a certificate that can be redeemed for an ice cream treat, as well as recognition by placing their picture on the bulletin board at the entrance of the school. A postcard is sent home for parents to hear the great news! It is so wonderful to have students with such positive qualities!
