The purpose of the Bee Athletic Boosters is to encourage and support participation in athletic activities in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights School System. We conduct a variety of fund-raising activities, and distribute the funds to enhance and supplement the athletic programs at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School and Middle School. Membership is open to anyone supporting the purposes of the organization, and includes admission to some or all home athletic events, depending on the membership level. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month during the school year, in the High School Media Room.

A new high-tech scoreboard has been installed at the High School Stadium, in time for the fall sports season, thanks to the Bee Athletic Boosters, various fundraisers, and private donations. As part of the fund-raising effort, Star Sports is selling a "Fear the Bee" t-shirt, with $5 of every sale going to the Athletic Department to help fund the scoreboard. "Fear the Bee" t-shirts are now available at Star Sports (7032 Mill Road), and will also be available at all 2009 home football games. Opportunities are also available for local businesses to advertise their services on the scoreboard. Please see the press release describing the new scoreboard for more details. Great Time to Join the Boosters! 2008/09 was a great year to be a Bee Athletic Booster, with numerous team and individual titles in SWC, Sectional, Regional, and even State competition. But last year was last year, the 2009/10 season is now upon us, and we can once again gather at the football field on crisp Friday evenings, run back and forth between vantage points at cross country meets, attend some exciting soccer games, cheer on the volleyball team, and watch our other fall teams in action. Now is a great time to express your interest in the Boosters, and help determine how the money we raise is spent in support of our athletic programs. We raise over $75,000 each year to help support all the teams at both the High School and Middle School. And, depending on the membership level you choose, you'll get free admission to some or all home regular-season games. See the Membership page for details. Donating your time and effort with the Bee Athletic Boosters is a great way to get involved in our schools' athletic programs, to show your support for all of our student-athletes, and to have fun with a terrific group of dedicated volunteers.
