The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District is pleased to assist with the promotion of events for students per board policy. Flyers are posted in an electronic format, saving paper and time but still reaching a broad audience for these events. As per Board Policy, no materials from any profit making organizations are distributed to students in any format.

Flyer Submission Guidelines:

In order to expedite your request, please use the guidelines listed below:

  • Forms should be submitted electronically as a PDF attachment to an email, directed to Superintendent, Joelle Magyar at magyarj@bbhcsd.org.
  • Each flyer must include: Contact Name, Email and Phone Number.
  • Please be sure to include the desired date of posting and the date that the event ends.
  • Please supply a brief description/title of your flyer which includes the following information: Who, What, When, Where and Why for your event.
  • Flyers may be submitted any time but will ONLY be posted to Flyer Central every Wednesday. In order for us to help you promote your event, please plan accordingly.
  • Requests to building personnel will be directed to the Central Office for consideration of approval. ALL flyers must be pre-approved by the Superintendent.

This event will be presented by Dr. Mary Rooney, National Board Certified Child Psychologist and ADHD expert, who will join Huntington Learning Center for a live webinar on March 5th to discuss ADHD, how it can affect learning as well as tips for homework strategies and motivating students with ADHD. A recording of the webinar will also be made available to registrants.
Free presentations on various childhood topics by local, pediatric professionals, as well as hands-on training programs for elementary children and their parents will be offered at local public libraries. See flyer for full info and how to register.
A free public event on Tuesday, March 12th that will highlight providers from across Northeast Ohio, focusing on services for individuals with special needs (ages birth - 22), such as tutoring, adapted recreation programs and camps, and more! Pre-register today.
Video game design, computer programming, LEGO Robotics - these are just a few of the many topics your student can engage in during full-day or half-day summer camps from Classroom Antics. With a new camp location in Brecksville, summer tech fun is right around the corner!
Featuring fashions by Francesca's of SouthPark Mall, the fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 6 ,2019 at Carrie Cerino's Ristorante in North Royalton. Reservations must be completed by Thursday, March 28th.
Troops are forming now and open spots are still available for girls in Kindergarten as well as 1st, 2nd and 4th grades in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights area. Girl Scout members make new friends, earn petals and badges for trying new things, explore the outdoors, develop leadership skills and so much more!
3rd - 5th grade girls are invited to join the local Girls on the Run team, where they will learn to be happy, joyful and confident using an experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running! Spring season has begun and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 PM.
Support ALL students in choir, band, orchestra and elementary music programs by attending the annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 8 AM - 1 PM at the BBHHS Cafeteria. Tickets available at the door.
The Brecksville Theatre invites area children grades K through 8th to participate in our Spring Break Mini Camp production of "The Amazing Animal Race" from 9 AM - 3 PM, April 15th-19th. Limited to 15 participants.
The BBHCSD will be hosting a public screening of the documentary film, Angst on Wednesday, February 13th at 6:30 PM in the High School Auditorium. Angst seeks to raise awareness about the issue of anxiety, especially how it affects students. A panel discussion will follow the conclusion of the film.

The BBHCSD will be hosting Kindergarten Registration for the 2019-2020 school year on Wednesday, February 27th and Thursday, February 28th, from 4-8 PM at the Middle School Media Center. See flyer for full details.

Participate in this popular after-school program that takes place in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights schools, grades 1 through 5. Each class is two hours in length and is designed to maximize and maintain the child's art interest. Class projects work in a multitude of media: pastels, watercolor, markers, acrylic, tempera and watercolor pencils.
Athletic Flyers
Calling all Boys and Girls, K-8 to Join Drew Brees' Flag Football League. Sign up as an individual or with friends in the fastest growing flag football league in Northeast Ohio. All games are played indoors at CAPS FieldHouse in Valley View on Friday evenings. Registration Ends March 1st!
Online registration is now open for students in grades 3-8 interested in playing on the 2019 BBH Youth Lacrosse Club Teams. No prior experience necessary - just a willingness to learn and have fun!
