The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District is pleased to assist with the promotion of events for students per board policy. Flyers are posted in an electronic format, saving paper and time but still reaching a broad audience for these events. As per Board Policy, no materials from any profit making organizations are distributed to students in any format.

Flyer Submission Guidelines:

In order to expedite your request, please use the guidelines listed below:

  • Forms should be submitted electronically as a PDF attachment to an email, directed to Superintendent, Joelle Magyar at magyarj@bbhcsd.org.
  • Each flyer must include: Contact Name, Email and Phone Number.
  • Please be sure to include the desired date of posting and the date that the event ends.
  • Please supply a brief description/title of your flyer which includes the following information: Who, What, When, Where and Why for your event.
  • Flyers may be submitted any time but will ONLY be posted to Flyer Central every Wednesday. In order for us to help you promote your event, please plan accordingly.
  • Requests to building personnel will be directed to the Central Office for consideration of approval. ALL flyers must be pre-approved by the Superintendent.

General Flyers
The talented cast and production crew of The Brecksville Theatre will be bringing the holiday film favorite to the stage on November 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18 at the Old Town Hall.
On Sunday November 4 at 4:00 PM, Brecksville UCC will host the Yiddishe Cup Klezmer Band, which features a mix of Eastern European Jewish folk music, American swing, Yiddish theater tunes and Israeli horas. Their playlist now features some rock 'n' roll, Motown and R&B!
Food supplied by Augies and prepared/served by Scouts of Troop 810 on Wednesday, 11/7 from 4-7 PM at Assumption Family Center. Includes 50/50 and basket raffles. Take-Out Orders available also.
Registration for the BBH BEES Ski & Snowboard Club is now open! The club is open to to anyone ages 8-18 and meets Saturday evenings at Boston Mills with two sessions to choose from: BBH4 from 4pm-8pm and BBH6 from 6pm-10pm.
Gain confidence to sing and play piano with instruction by Michele Wagner Jacobsen, an award winning, inspirational singer-songwriter with teaching experience over the past 20 years.
Watch Nutcracker performed by Ballet Theatre of Ohio this upcoming holiday season at the Akron Civic Theatre from 11/24 - 12/2.
Our October Elementary Experiences, Tech Tools for Learning, will be held on Saturday, October 20, at the Middleburg Heights Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library. Designed for children 7-12 yrs. old.
The Trick or Trot will take place on Saturday, 10/27 in the Brecksville Reservation and will feature a 5K Run, Costume Party and Trick or Treating Fun Walk. Avoid the late fee and register before 10/17.
6th thru 9th grade students can enjoy a full school year of exploring, making and problem solving at the Great Lakes Science Center. Great way to learn more about STEM and STEM related careers.
BBHCSD students can bring nonperishable food and other items listed on the attached flyer from November 1 - November 30th to help our area's needy families.
The Yuletide Hunger and Adopt-A-Family programs will be held this year from December 3, 2018, through December 8, 2018.
Participate in this popular after-school program that takes place in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights schools, grades 1 through 5. Each class is two hours in length and is designed to maximize and maintain the child's art interest. Class projects work in a multitude of media: pastels, watercolor, markers, acrylic, tempera and watercolor pencils.

Athletic Flyers
All youth aged kids can learn wrestling in a fun, structured approach focused on fundamentals on Wednesday and Thursday evenings starting Wednesday, November 7th. Sign up at the Brecksville Recreation Center.
Students ages 5-10 can learn the game of football and stay active during the winter in a safe, fun and positive environment at Force Indoor Sports Complex in Fairlawn. League Dates are on Sundays, 11/4 - 12/16. Register today to secure a spot!
